In slope intercept form, the slope is the coefficient of x.

So, 1/3 is the answer.

The slope of the line is 1/3. The slope will always be determined whatever is next to the x in the slope-intercept form, as this is.

If the equation was not, and you have two points, you would have to use the slope formula, y2 - y1 / x2 - x1 and that would be the slope.
