A non-fiction book is always a good reference however, it would need to be based on the true story. When you choose to use a non-fiction book make sure that the Book you are using aligns with historical facts.For most things use a text book with information you know is entirely accurate. To check do research online and if multiple sources match then its likely to be accurate.
