Answer:

You should use the y2 - y1 /x2 - x1

To find the answer you should be able to plug in the x and the y in the equation with the coordinates that you have but I'm not sure if you don't have what you'll do

(3,1) and (-2,-1) are the two point.
You could do the y2-y1/x2-x1. Which is (-1) - 1 = -2 and (-2) - 3 = -5. Two negatives make a positive so the answer would be 2/5.
