Sum of two angles that are complementary = 90°

m∠1 + m∠2 = 90°

Given :

m∠1 = 12°

Then :-

[tex]12° + ∠2 = 90°[/tex]

[tex]∠2 = 90 - 12[/tex]

[tex]∠2 = 78°[/tex]

∴ m∠2 = 78°
