We know that :

The sum of two angles that are complementary = 90°

Smaller angle = x

Larger angle = 2x

We can make the formula as

= 2x + x = 90°

= 3x = 90°

= x = 90 ÷ 3

= x = 30

The smaller angle = x = 30°

The larger angle = 2x = 30 × 2 = 60°

Therefore , the measure of each of the angles are 30° and 60° .
