Answer:

1/3D + 10 = 3/5D

10 = 3/5 D ÷ 1/3 D

10 = 3D/5 ÷ D/3

10 = 3D/5 × 3/D

(btw there is no cross cancleing, just straight up multiply.)

next

10 = 9D/5D

cancel the 10 and 5D to make 10 to 2, and 5d to D.

Next, cancel both the D's (the 9d and the d (the d becomes 1 which is  just 9 over nothing. translates to just a simple 9.))

there is a 2 on the opposite side of the 9, so bring it under 9. so 9/2

then divide to get 4.5

4.5 is the answer!
