After the Spaniards introduced horses to Native Americans the lives of tribes changed. They became less settled and sedentary as the horse allowed them to hunt animals such as bison and buffalo. Instead of staying in one place they became nomadic, otherwise known as nomads, so that they could hunt and keep up with the herds as they moved around.
