Answer:

to find the x-intercept, set y to 0.

0 = 1/5x - 7

7 = 1/5x

35 = x

(35, 0)

to find the y-intercept, set x to 0.

y = 1/5(0) - 7

y = 0 - 7

y = -7

(0, -7)
