Answer:

"Upwards and towards the left" is the right answer.

Explanation:

The magnitude of the field will be:

⇒  [tex]E=\frac{kq}{r^2}[/tex]

And direction -> for negative charges, to positive charges, except charges.  

  • Charging across the y-axis. It would be up to the aggregate field.  
  • Because the x-axis needs to charge. Total production is to the west.  

Thus the net field is upwards as well as to the left.
