Out of all the numbers, 6 and 6 will give you 12. 6 appears once on each die so, the chance of getting 6 on the first die is 1/6 and the chance of getting a 6 on the second die is 1/6. Therefore when you need both events to happen ‘ this AND this’ you multiply the two probabilities. So, 1/6 x 1/6 = 1/36 = 2.78%

This means the likelihood of this happening is unlikely.
