The range of this function is -∞≤y≤∞.

That is for inequality notation, there is also set notation and interval notation. it's all real numbers because a linear function will never stop. You can also find this by graphing it on your calculator, and if you don't have a graphing calculator I highly recommend www.desmos.com, which is an online graphing calculator.
