Slope of the line= [tex] \frac{change in y}{change in y} [/tex]
m=[tex] \frac{8-0}{2--2} [/tex]
m=8/4=2
y=2x+c
Replacing for x and y using point (-2, 0)
0=2(-2)+c
0=-4+c
c=4
y=2x+4
