What is the center and radius of a given circle (x+3)^2+(y-4)^2= 25

The general form for a circle centered at (a,b) with radius r is

(x - a)² + (y - b)² = r²

Comparing to our form we have a = -3, b=4, r²=25 so r=5

Answer: Center (-3,4) radius 5
