The answer is C: a solid-state drive hosting windows 7

I find is pointless and unnecessary to defrag an SSD drive considering that data is being read randomly. SSD’s are solid in state and do not have seek time or rotational redundancies. You do not need to put all sectors of an SSD of a given large file together. Actually, defragmenting will reduce its finite lifespan and will, over time cause tons of small write access.
