In a cube, there are six sides: just like a dice, the set of possibilities are {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}. In this case, the number of sample set is 6. Hence the probability of getting a number greater than 1 is 5 that is from {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}; 5/6. The answer to this problem is 5/6.
