Hydrogen and oxygen both have multiple stable isotopes and can be found everywhere. Forensic scientist mainly use mass spectroscopy as a tool when there is a need for an analyze of isotopes will give a unique composition of compounds that will make it easier for an investigator to compare and identify the source of evidence
