I was told to find the perpendicular distance between the lines 2x+4y+10=0 and 2x +4y+25=0

Hello,
y=-x/2 -5/2
y=-x/2-25/4

d=|-5/2-(-25/4)|/√((-1/2)²+1)
d=15/(4*√(5/4))=15/(2*√5)=3/2*√5
