First we need to find what percentage of your money was spent on sandals. Because you've already spent 90% (25 + 65 = 90), we know that the sandals cost 10% of $80.

To find percent, multiply 80 by .10

80 * 0.10 = 8.

So, you spent $8 on the sandals.
