slope of any line with 2 points is,

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

In this case,

m=2/5

(x1,y1)=(3,k)

(x2,y2)=(-7,0)

So,

》2/5=(0-k)/(-7-3)

》2/5=-k/-10

》k=20/5

》k=4
