Standard form
Coeficients are: a = 3; b = 4; c = 2;
Because [tex] b^{2} -4ac = -8[/tex] is negative we get two Complex solutions;
We can use the special Quadratic Formula
x = (-b + or - i[tex] \sqrt{ b^{2}-4ac } [/tex])/(2a); where i = [tex] \sqrt{-1} ;[/tex]
Then, x1 = (-4 + i2[tex] \sqrt{2} )/6 = 2(-2 + i \sqrt{2} )/6 = (-2+i \sqrt{2} )/3;[/tex];
In similar way, we obtain x2 =  (-2-i \sqrt{2} )/3;[/tex];
