[tex]x+\frac{4}{3}x=35[/tex]

[tex]\frac{3x+4x}{3}=35[/tex]

[tex]\frac{7}{3}x=35[/tex]    

[tex]x=35*3/7=15[/tex]

[tex]y=35-15=20[/tex]
