Natural numbers are your counting numbers. 1, 2, 3, 4... etc. Since when we learn to count, we don't say 0, 0 is not a natural number. So, no 1/9 is not a natural number. Hope I helped :)

1/9 is a rational number. A rational number is any number that can be expressed as the ratio of two integers.
