[tex]( \frac{f}{g} )(4) = \frac{f(4)}{g(4)} = \frac{ {4}^{2} + 2 \times 4 - 3 }{ {4}^{2} - 9} = \\ = \frac{16 + 8 - 3}{16 - 9} = \frac{21}{7} [/tex]

[tex](f + g)(4) = f(4) + g(4) = 21 + 7 = 28[/tex]
