A regolith is a term used to describe several loose and weathered materials. Down the bottom of a cliff, it is often possible to find materials of different grain sizes at the foot of the cliff. They are results of weathered materials from the cliff surface and area. When they fall, they accumulate as regolith slope at the base of a cliff.
The particle can be of different sizes like that of boulders, gravels, sands, clays e.t.c
