If angle 1 and angle 2 are vertical. If the measure angle 1= 6x+11 and the measure angle 2= 10x-9, find the measure angle 1

Hey there!!

We know:- Vertically opposite angles are equal.

Hence,

Angle 1 = Angle 2

... 6x + 11 = 10x - 9

... 20 + 6x = 10x

... 20 = 4x

... x = 20 / 4

... x = 5

Angle 1 = 6x + 11

... 6 ( 5 ) + 11

... 30 + 11

... 41

Hence, the measure of angle 1 is 41 degrees.
