The total amount she paid is found by calculating the total amount she spent on the products plus the sales tax she had to pay for this amount. So we have: T = 12+26+125 + 5.6/100 * (12+26+125) <=> T = 163 + 5.6/100 * 163 <=> T = 163 + 9.128 <=> T = $172.128
