x = - 2 and x = 3

to find the zeros set f(x) = 0

3x² - 3x - 18 = 0

divide through by 3

x² -x - 6 = 0

(x - 3)(x + 2) = 0 ⇒ x = - 2 and x = 3 are the zeros
