You can "plug in" the value for y from the top eq in the bottom one:

3(-2x+6) - x + 3 = 0

Simplify:

-6x + 18 - x + 3 = 0

-7x + 21 = 0

-7x = -21

x = 3

y = -2*3+6 = 0
