To make t the subject, you have to isolate t to one side of the equation.

Firstly, subtract 3 on both sides: [tex]P-3=-2t[/tex]

Next, divide both sides by -2 and your answer will be [tex]-\frac{1}{2}P+\frac{3}{2}=t[/tex]

P=3-2t

First we add 2t to both sides.

P+2t=3

Then, We subtract P from both sides.

2t=-P+3

Divide it all by two.

t=-0.5P+1.5
