[tex]f(x) = {3x}^{2} + 1 \\ g(x) = 2x - 1[/tex]
FG(x) = you insert g(x) into f(x)
So,
[tex]3(2x - 1) {}^{2} + 1 \\ = 3(4x {}^{2} - 4x + 1) + 1 \\ = 12x {}^{2} - 12x + 3 + 1 \\ = 12 {x}^{2} - 12x + 4[/tex]
So the answer is the bottom one
