Find the coordinates of the midpoint of the segment whose endpoints are H(2, 1) and K(10, 7).

Midpoint = [tex]( \frac{X1+X2}{2} , \frac{Y1+Y2}{2} )[/tex]

Mdpt = [tex]( \frac{2+10}{2} , \frac{1+7}{2} )[/tex]
= [tex]( \frac{12}{2} , \frac{8}{2} )[/tex]

= (6, 4)

That is your midpoint.
