we have that
10x²- 64 = 36 + 6x²

Group terms that contain the same variable, and move the constant to the opposite side of the equation

(10x²-6x²)=64+36

4x²=100------> divide by 4

x²=100/4

x²=25

x=(+/-)5

the solutions are

x=5

x=-5
