[tex]y=f(x)=(-4)^{x}[/tex]

substitute the value of x = -3 to the equation:

[tex]y=f(-3)=(-4)^{-3}=\left(-\dfrac{1}{4}\right)^3=-\dfrac{1^3}{4^3}=-\dfrac{1}{64}[/tex]
