[tex]= \frac{12}{11} + (\frac{2}{3}) [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{3 * 12}{33} + (\frac{11 * 2}{33}) [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{36}{33} + \frac{22}{33} [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{58}{33} or 1\frac{25}{33} [/tex]
